Performing Engagements

1977-80:
  • London - Clarinet, piano and vocal recitals. Solo baritone in the British Premiere of Busoni's opera Turandot. Figaro in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro
1980:
  • London début at the Purcell Room, South Bank, with my own ensemble, "The Clarinet Liederbook" (with the Australian soprano, Marie Angel, and the American pianist, Dan Saunders.)
1982-83:
  • Solo tour of Commonwealth countries (Australia, Canada, Fiji, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Vanuatu) with my solo show Let's not be beastly to the Windsors!
1984:
  • Tour of China - Premiere, in Beijing, of my Noel Coward revue The Oriental Coward
1985:
  • British Council tours to Rio de Janeiro, Botswana, Zimbabwe.

  • India - Specially adapted Gilbert and Sullivan show for the 40th anniversary of the British Council in Bombay
